Race officials have the final say in all disputes.
MWXC reserves the right to refuse and/or deny any entry application.
Absolutely NO pit riding, this includes riding to sign up.
All riders are responsible for attending the Rider's Meeting.
All riders must wear a helmet when traveling to and from pit area.
Riders will obtain bar codes upon registration. It must be placed on the lower right side of the helmet. Class colored tape must be placed on the rear of the rider's helmet and be clearly visible. UTV bar codes must be placed on the driver side roll cage.
Riders are responsible for their entire pit crew.
Rider contact such as deliberate ramming into another rider, and unsportsmanlike conduct will not be allowed, and may result in a penalty or disqualification.
Riders may ride the course during the days prior to the event if the race is at an open offroad park and you have authorization from the property owners. Course may not be ridden on anytime during another cross country event. (ex: an ATV may not ride the course during the bike race.)
Riders under the age of 18 must provide a photo ID or Birth Certificate for proof of age. The entry application of a person under 18 must be signed by a parent or guardian. If a parent can not accompany them, they must have a notarized consent form on file.
A rider may petition in writing to MWXC to move to a lower classification, and will be judged based on class finishes and time differences.
Any entrant who fails to fully fill out and sign the required entry forms and release papers may be disqualified, and shall forfeit any prize money and points for that particular event.
Riders must race the vehicle they start the race on or they shall forfeit any and all prize money and points in that particular event. This excludes team races were more than one vehicle is used.
Alcohol or narcotics anywhere in the designated race area is strictly forbidden. Anyone who shows evidence of being under the influence shall be suspended from any future MWXC event.
