do you honestly believe he didn't cut the course? or are you just being sarcastic? If you know charlie you know he's not that fast. he isn't slow, but he isn't nearly that fast.
and i'm not saying he cut the course to cheat either, he was probably just trying to end the misery asap
Hey, Charlie did win an Enduro Cross back last fall. I saw it in Trail Rider. Plus, he told me about it! Maybe he's hitting his fourth wind. Or fifth, maybe sixth..... ---------- The hardest thing about racing quads is telling your parents you're gay. This statement is just a joke. Relax.
Talked to Charlie yesterday. He said that he quit after having trouble getting his 125 up some big gnarly hill. He said somebody towed him back to the pits but he got scored anyway like he finished the lap. He also told me that he called MWXC and they took care of it.
I told him you guys were giving him grief about it and he said he's gonna bust some chops!! ---------- The hardest thing about racing quads is telling your parents you're gay.
I'm sorry to have caused such a stir. I brought a poorly prepared 13 year old 125 and neither of us had the guts to get up the first hill. I tried a few times and decided I'd enjoy my day better back in the pits. So I crossed back over the river, went through the scoring barrels to turn in my card. I told them I was out of the race, just incase some one thought I was missing and still on the course, this is something every one should do so the club does not think you are lost.... I loaded my bike up and headed home. I got an early phone call Monday morning congratulating me for my out standing class win. I didn't win, I did not complete one half a mile! So I immediatly e-mailed MWXC and told them of the mistake. They sent me a nice note thanking me and that's the whole story. No, there is more, while the rest of my class was doing their lap, I was at the ice cream shop in Greensburg. Thanks, it looked like a great place to ride and next time I'll come better prepared. Charlie Williams
Uh, because we knew better, Ken? When it's 97 degrees out and the dust is so thick guys are choking on it, I'll be there! ---------- The hardest thing about racing quads is telling your parents you're gay. This statement in only a joke. Relax.
lot's of course cutting going on. they need to get some more checks out in the woods and train the people scoring at the end how to look at laptimes to catch cheaters
RDA I was not sure if this was not Justin williams dad. I see it wasn't now. I haven't met Charlie but it sounds like he's a real stand up guy, I'm sure Ive seen him but i'm old and can not remember any more.
Rooster its time to dust out Slyfox at the next race in Holton see you there.
Charlie looks like you got first in the standing. what flavor ice cream was that you had in greenburg anyways. mike paynter
