Mini Rider update: This is Cam with Indymoto and course marshals for the MWXC. This morning was one of the hardest I have ever had to deal with my kid on the ground not getting up. After heading to the hospital we found that he has 5 compression fractures in his back The doctors say he should have a full recovery. He is Lovin life on vicodin. He should be back at it soon, cost him the season win for the MWXC series, but that's racin. I genuinely ask for prayers for his fast recovery and positive thoughts are more than appreciated. I do want to add that it happened as he passed a slower rider. As we educate our kids about riding we also need to teach them to let faster riders pass so it is safe for both and to move over to keep the main line clear. I am not saying another rider caused his accident it just got me thinking. Thanks to all!!!!!
Cam he is in our thoughts and pryers. Get well soon little buddy and get back out there.

Cam I hated to hear about this happening. He's such an outgoing and warm hearted young man. If you guys need anything thing don't be afraid to ask. I cook up a mean stew!! He'll be in our prayers for a full recovery!!
First of all I want to thank all for the support we as a family have received because of Gavins accident and want to thank a few spacifically for there additional efforts. First of all Jake “the mouf of the souf” Davidson for leading the marshals along with all the marshals Matt Davidson, Jim McDaniels, Derrick Vehling and keeping the peace in my absences. Mark McDaniels and Steve Gagne thanks for you behind the scenes and getting the van loaded with my daughter. Last Adam Schriner for the on site accident assessment and quick analysis of Gavin so we had some idea of his condition. Emily and I Thank you the day would have been much worse without you.
I just want to give thanks to everyone at the race and on this site for their support of a fellow racer in need. It's nice to see acts of kindness and class in this day and age. I was 5 when I started racing quarter midgets and have been involved with racing ever since. The racing community is one of the strongest and most supportive you'll ever find. Gavin, heal up and stay positive, the healing will be behind you soon enough...Mark Mickdee
